What is an E-Team?

E-Teams are comprised of groups of fans that get together to help expose their favorite bands to friends and fellow music listeners on the web. Members send E-Cards, create their own fan -sites, post banners, instant message people, visit chat-rooms and bulletin boards and add links, banners, icons to their signatures. The team spreads the word throughout the world wide web via bulletin board postings, sending streams to songs and links to websites, instant messaging, and emails. Members also make radio station and video channel requests. Members can create, print and distribute Elektra: The Album flyers using the Automatic Flyer Maker.

What do I have to do as an E-Team member?

To spread the word about Elektra: The Album, you can post about the band in chat rooms, sending links to music streams of the band's music or links to their site to your friends via instant messaging and email, and by visiting music sites, sports & gaming sites, and your other favorite sites and posting about the band on bulletin boards. Please supply a link to the band's website so new fans can visit and listen to their music. Please do not spam sites with multiple posts. Promote the band and let us know about what you are doing by filling out the E-Team Feedback Report called "E-Telligence" located in the Exclusive Area. Call radio stations and request songs from Elektra: The Album. Check and see if your favorite record stores have the new Elektra: The Album in stock. Get your favorite record store in the know by hooking them up with flyers. We've created the Automatic Flyer Maker just for you to spread the word. Call or email you favorite video channel (MTV, MTV2, FUSE, etc) with your request for Elektra: The Album.

What's in it for me?

Other than participating in the excitement of discovering and promoting a new band and making some new friends, you'll have a chance to win cool prizes throughout the year, sometimes autographed by bands, plus:
  • Access to the E-Team Exclusive Area
  • Special promotional items exclusive to the E-Team
  • Exclusive links to new music and videos
  • Cool contests
Do I have to send in feedback?

Yes. Your feedback is extremely important and is mandatory. Tell us what you've done, where you've done it, whom you've met, and what they thought. Please use the E-Team Feedback Form located in the E-Team Exclusive Area. If you aren't able to do that, send an email directly to Roman with your 411. Your feedback is necessary so that we can see what's happening on the street and the web and how you're helping to create a buzz.

What about Canadians and other non-US residents?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept non-US residents at this time. Because bands have different record companies for each different country in that their album may be released, it makes it difficult to coordinate activities elsewhere and with the US. However, any fan is invited to promote Elektra: The Album using the materials we have created on the Elektra Music E-Team Home Page. Also, sign up for Elektra: The Album E-news to say in touch with what's happening with the band.
